Hi all,
I can't seem to figure out which pieces are needed to install the mali drivers and get them to work with X. I have seen lots of different stuff. I can work out that you need the stuff from the rockchip libmali repo. Do you also need xf86-video-armsoc? I have seen places where you do and don't. Regardless, I can't figure out what to install.
Thanks! |

I am using a rockpro64 - Rockchip RK3399 Hexa-Core (dual ARM Cortex A72 and quad ARM Cortex A53) 64-Bit Processor with MALI T-860 Quad-Core GPU. I have gentoo running on it and I have been using pieces from:
https://github.com/ayufan-rock64
(for example, his mainline kernel fork).
Thanks! |

The driver is not usable yet, wait a few months (and cross all your fingers), it is called panfrost:
