Hello

I did a emerge -u world the other day followed by etc-update.
After reboot I got :

Quote:

Failed to bring up eth0
ERROR: Problem starting needed services "netmount" was not started

Wierd ..isn't it...
I so at the begining that my NIC module was loaded
8139too and as root did /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start and eth0 was loaded and
happy. My /etc/init.d/net is OK as well as /etc/modules.autoload.
I also did rc-update add net.eth0 default but system msg me that it
already had that .Ifconfig showes my eth0 so I ask you why system can't load eth0 at boot and why I have to load it manualy.
Need some input about this issue ..
