salve ho installato layman per utilizzare del software non presente nei repository di gentoo.
ma quando lancio :

o qualsiasi altro comando di layman .
Sò che l'output mi descrive il problema ,ma io non sò dove metetre le mani in questo caso .

Puoi postare il tuo /etc/layman/layman.cfg con wgetpaste? Sembra che abbia la sezione overlays duplicata

Si in effetti hai due sezioni overlays a linea 124 e a linea 294, eliminane una delle due

grazie mille ,non ricordavo di aver inserito il repositorio della linea 124 .
Comunque ho commentato quella riga e adesso funziona.
