Yet another HDD is going belly up on me (high pitched noise and seek errors, locking up etc) any suggestions on how to recover my system quickly after a new HDD is installed?
I am able to access all the files at the moment so what would be the best option? I really dont want to have to rebuild from scratch cause I have the box running perfect at the moment..
Cheers

Buy a hdd of the same size and use dd to copy over everything and then try fixing any fs corruption on the new hdd |
