I know that portage has the PORTAGE_ELOG_CLASSES variable, but unless I'm missing something that can only save output emitted by portage itself. Is there a way to save the full build.log of a package after compilation automatically?

Full build logs are the default if the PORTAGE_LOGDIR variable is set in "/etc/portage/make.conf".

See also related wiki page https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Portage_log.
In this page is reported yet old variable name PORT_LOGDIR (this work but deprecated) _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |
