Hi everyone.
After install gentoo using the graphis embeded in the chipset, I get a new video card (PCI), and maybe (maybe not, so I'm going to install the PCI one) in some days I'll get an AGP card. So the question is, how can I switch trough them? My concer is more for the framebuffer (the consoles I mean) rather than the X server as it could be reconfigured using command line utils (as far I get an usable console).
Thanks in advance for any advice. |

That should just be a setting in your BIOS. on my PIIX4 motherboard, i can select wether to boot up with the PCI video or the AGP video first, and its pretty much as easy as that. No additionaly configuration required. MY guess is if video works on one of them, it will work on the other. _________________ http://ckdake.com/ |
