He didn't utilize the power of gentoo. He just flashed an image and used gentoo without understanding it. Gentoo is about understanding.

But, if he showed the power of gentoo on his video, he would have lost his viewers because gentoo's power scares people.
People would think gentoo is evil if they were shown its raw power.
