Hello :)

I have followed the instructions for installing Steam from an external repo, https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Steam#anyc.27s_Steam_repository, however when I run steam, I am getting the message

Code:

Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(0)

. Additionally, I am getting the error of a missing

Code:

$HOME/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu_12_32/steam-runtime/run.sh

, however I am not sure if this is expected for the first-run.

Running strace doesn't give me any more helpful information, as its last output line is the message from steam regarding the "breakpad exception handler" (meaning it's not even making any system calls).

Any help would be appreciated,
