Hello, I recently started to develop my own ebuilds. I have my local repo at /var/db/repos/adam. And it works fine, but I would like to ask how to publish it using git. Or rather - how to do it efficiently. Now I develop at the /var/db/repos/adam and its subdirs as root. But it does not feel right to use git as root. And to always copy everything to e.g. /home/adam/repos and change ownership before commiting to git seems awkward.
So I would like to ask - what is a good workflow when developing and overlay and publishing it with git? |

I put my overlay in home directory and I setted this location in repos.conf
Code: | [gallifrey]
location = /home/<my_user>/projects/gentoo/gallifrey
masters = gentoo
auto-sync = no |
