This has been happening recently and IDK why. IS OOM killer sometimes a result of hardware issues and if not then could it be that my Opera is needing a reinstall. Always with the same application (for now) and a handful of times in a week sometimes lots of stuff open sometimes not.

Your application may have memory leak, to verify cosmic rays or enemy spies did not tamper with your Opera run qcheck on it.
