|
|
during one of my kernel compilations, i can no longer login to my system.
I get the tty login, type in the username and password and i get no error(or maybe the error was too quick) and am returned to the tty login screen again.
here's my current kernel configuration:
https://pastebin.com/5Hz5nU5W
unfortunately I cannot seem to trace what option caused this, nor do i have any backups unfortunately.
thanks |

You may try accessing logs (including dmesg, for example) by booting a live CD or live USB. |

Login with old kernel works?
You might be able to grab the config from /proc/config.gz if you enabled that option in kernel? |
