Ho risolto l'errore del mounting del proc al boot...ma ora è andato in tilt il filesystem!!:

* Checking root filesystem...

fsck.ext2: Is a directory while trying to open / /:
The superblock could not be read or does not descrive a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap of ufs or somethings else), then the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
efsck -b 8193 <device>

* filesystem couldn't be fixed :(

Give root password for maintenance
(or type Control+D for normal startup):

Forzando il boot cn CTRL+D la macchina rebootta....

(P.S.: /etc/fstab è ok...)

Se fstab e' corretta fai quello che ti dice

Credo che la cosa migliore da fare e' bootare con il LiveCD di gentoo e fare dei check al file system, ed ovvimante un fcsk. Poi assicurati ancora una volta che non messo qualche opzione di troppo (o di meno) al /etc/fstab. Sei sicuro di aver sopporto nel kernel per il tipo (o i tipi .. io uso uno per /boot ed un altro per /root ) di filesystem che stai usando?

sisi sicurissimo! Prima la mia macchina andava alla grande...poi ho deciso di installare mplayer e dopo vari aggiornamenti la macchina è andata in tilt :(
