Thinkpad X230 mute and mic mute light

Hello everyone!

I'm having some issues with getting the light of the mute and mic mute button to work automatically when the audio/mic is muted.
The leds themselves work perfectly and I can control them by changing the brighness value inside of /sys/devices. However, I have seen that they should be appearing in alsamixer as a component in order to get them working automatically and I have tried it in Ubuntu and it is appearing there.

Does anybody know what the problem can be?

Try passing acpi_osi=Linux to the kernel cmdline, that should automagically make them work correctly.
