Hello Gentoo people,
I have rapsberry pi 4, 4g version, I installed gentoo lite image on, configured (or configuring), genup-ed, added usb swap, and emerged my stuff. For window manager i use suckless dwm, gitted from their hub. I start it with startx with my .xinitrc.
It takes less than second from startx to wm, I do this on most my rpi installs.
On this install for some reason on every other reboot it takes like 20 seconds from startx to wm, and than again, it opens in a blink of an eye.
here is some info to start with:
Code: | |--------------->
/etc/X11/# ls /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/
total 12K
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 130 Jan 23 2017 00-keyboard.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 177 Nov 24 16:05 20-keyboard.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 27 Nov 24 14:47 20opengl.conf
|--------------->
/etc/X11/# find . -name xorg.conf
|--------------->
/etc/X11/# emerge --info | wgetpaste

/etc/X11/# wgetpaste /var/log/Xorg.0.log

|--------------->
/etc/X11/# dmesg | wgetpaste
Pasting > 25 kB often tend to fail with dpaste. Use --verbose or --debug to see the
error output from wget if it fails. Alternatively use another pastebin service.
