I have a laptop that is not so strong.
some videos play very poorly on the gpu vo
I was tryignt o configure the vaapi VO instead but i get no screen adn the folowing errors:

I have reemerged xorg drivers and mesa with the i965 drivers
and I use hwdec=vaapi-copy
the videos are working just fine now.
