I'm nearly finished following Sakaki's EFI install guide, but after deviating and installing KDE instead of GNOME I forgot to install a terminal emulator. Then, like an idiot, I add sddm as my default display manager and added it to OpenRC's default starts.
So now I boot straight into a graphical desktop with no terminal access.
I do not have SSHD enabled, SDDM always auto-starts, and KDE has no terminal emulator for me to use. Root is LUKS encrypted.
Is there any way for me to recover from this without restarting the install from scratch?
EDIT: Good news! I managed to save myself by turning off secure-boot and chrooting from my install drive.

ctrl-alt-f2 does not work?
boot the install media mount the gentoo system root partition at /mnt/gentoo if applicable mount the gentoo boot partition at /mnt/gentoo/boot enter chroot per the handbook and make repairs
not being an encrypter myself ... _________________ Defund the FCC. |
