I want to emerge phpwebsite - the ebuild puts it in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/ but I want it to go into /home/httpd/

whats the best way to sort this out
1) just mv the phpwebsite directory
2) leave it where it is & use a symlink
3) re-emerge it and tell it to go into /home/httpd ( but how?)

Never had to do this myself, but you may want to read this:
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/glep/glep-0011.html
which might be the reason for this setup.
