Zinc emulator?

I've been playing with zinc quite a bit in windows and after becomming addicted to a couple games that it runs I decided that I must have it in linux..the only problem is that when trying to use the frontend (gZinc) in linux I get this error:

then it crashes and exits.. Anyone have any ideas?
