I created a bug report here intented to media-sound/mixxx.
12 hours after creation, it doesn't show up in concerned package bug list.
Maybe I did something wrong. Which I'd like to check out.

It there a way to ensure which package a bug report has been created against?

Thks 4 ur attention.

As suggested here:
Code:
First write the exact version of the package in the title of the bug report e.g. sys-apps/package-2.3-r4
Web site's link for bugs is just a search for its own package atom, and if it's missing from the title it won't find it. Just have a look at other bugs for examples. If all versions are affected, you can omit the version or specify a range too.

You can still edit it, you should see a (edit) button next to your bug's title, but do keep edits it to a minimum because it sends emails everytime

Edit: speaking of editing, seems like someone renamed it for you and is unhappy about it :) It does sound like it could be an overlooked dep though, most people probably have it installed either way so it's likely easy to miss, but seeing some errors+info makes it more convincing that it should be forwarded to the package maintainers.

Ok,
I wrongly assumed bug report had a implicit link to the context it was created from.
Now I understand why these bug report managers are going berserk when bug report title doesn't start with package name.

Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support.

How exactly did you file the original report? What page did you visit? What fields did you set that you thought would let Bugzilla automatically annotate the bug with the appropriate package?
