true that the install guide is very in depth i found ive never had anything to do with linux but im getting through it i only stopped becouse gameing called |

rather than the ramdisc that the cd will be using |

Type "mount" and look for /mnt/gentoo. Your root partition should show up here.
Then type "df -h" and look for /mnt/gentoo again. You should have at least 2G of free space on this partition if you want to install Gentoo on it. |
