|
|
Hi,
My KDE Plasma panel has disappeared upon a reboot. This is the second time this happens. Previous time was last week and it ‘fixed’ itself a day later due to unknown causes.
Even when I try to add a (new) panel, nothing happens. Previously, when my panel appeared again, the new panels I had tried adding also appeared. I looked at my logs (systemd journal) and nothing appears when I try to add a panel.
In case anyone has experience with this kind of thing or can help diagnose the cause, I would really appreciate your help.
Best,
Erik |

Thanks for the info, I was wondering if they fixed it or not, apparently not, this is as old as plasma5 itself. And also baloo indexer. The two infamous of the KDE. |

Never happens to me. Maybe you have some cruft in your .config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc and should clean that up for once. |

It never happened to me before last week either… In any case, how do identify ‘cruft’ in that file? |
