hi
i'm trying to get my network up on my laptop but it won't work.
i have an 'accton en2216 ethernet' pcmcia network card
i'm using the dev-sources-2.6.0-test10
i can activate the pcmcia-bridge(with the yenta-socket driver) but my network card doesn't come up(in 2.4.20 kernel it uses the pcnet_cs driver).
i have pcmcia-cs installed(version 3.2.5 with /usr/src/linux pointed to the right kernel), when the system boots(yenta_socket and pcnet_cs compiled in the kernel) the pcmcia bridge is activated and cardmgr reports the following:
Code: |
* Starting pcmcia...
cardmgr[2758]: watching 1 socket
cardmgr[2758]: starting, version is 3.2.5
cardmgr[2758]: socket 0: Accton EN2216 Ethernet
cardmgr[2758]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: No such device [ok]
* Bringing eth0 up...
* Failed to bring eth0 up [!!]
