kernel 2.6 and promise software-raid support

hi,

are there any news or workarounds on how to get the promise software-raid working under 2.6 ?

There will be no support for promise sw raid...
And there possibly won't be any in the near future! *argh*
Try using md or dm until someone wrote a patch ;-)

i would do so, if i hadn't to back up my whole drives
when changing to md.

so it seems like i have to stick with the old kernel ;(
