What does this mean?

Seems to be related to Power Management. Could you try to compile it without CONFIG_PM?

I've had problems with APM in 2.6.0 series.

Thanks, I did just include ACPI, I'll try it with out that. Might have to wait until 2.6 final release to start messing with it.

That worked ... removed ACPI from the kernel and everything worked fine.
