I am getting an error as follows when I type fluxbox
BaseDisplay::BaseDisplay: connection to X server has failed.
Fluxbox: Unknown error.
I think it might be my video card setup but not sure. Any ideas? |

Are you typing "fluxbox" at a console? That's the wrong way to do it. |

There are several way to get fluxbox up and running
The simplest way is just to create a .xinitrc file in your home directory with the command exec fluxbox i.e. type
echo "exec fluxbox" > .xinitrc
at your console prompt.
Then... to get X running with fluxbox as the window manager, type startx at your console prompt.
