Has anyone gotten the promise 100tx2 ide card to work?
I have problems with irqs when I turn larger mem support on in the kernel.
Using kernel-2.4.20-gentoo-r8.
Thank you, _________________ ---I used to use a mac -- now macs use Linux - I am backwards --

Well, I've gotten it to work...
Works fine with 4GB mem support for kernel-2.4.20-gentoo-r8 smp,
after updating controller BIOS.
I enabled the 'Special UDMA feature' in my kernel config.
On kernel 2.6 it dosen't work (not even for -test11)
Here a link to the BIOS update site for this controller:
http://www.promise.com/support/download/download2_eng.asp?productId=11&category=bios&os=100
Hope that help's...
Best Regards
