I suggest a new "ipv6" forum.
Nowadays, there are a lot of Gentoo users that use ipv6, with a whole bunch of ipv6 specific problems and doubts.
There are free tunnels from internet to internet2 like www.freenet6.net. _________________ IM me at tuxisuau@jabber.7a69ezine.org |

When the networking forum starts getting overrun with ipv6 questions, we'll look into it. For now, however, we're trying to reduce the number of forums, not add to them.

I think it isn't a bad idea to create a category for ipv6 stuff.
It helps promoting ipv6 too, because ipv6 questions in the network forum usually dissapear too quicky in the postflood, quickly enough for ipv6 people to have problems following them, and quickly enough for non-ipv6 people to notice them. _________________ IM me at tuxisuau@jabber.7a69ezine.org |

A forum search for "ipv6" turns up only 64 threads in the entire archives. I'm presuming that the IPv6 forum would siphon off of Networking and Security, which in my opinion is a generally very noise-free and clean forum. I almost never have to moderatificatize threads in there. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

moderatificatize? I hope that doesn't happen automagically. |

I think it is very interesting that there are 12 yes votes, with very little ipv6 posts. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
