vitaly-zdanevich,
Its still missing the firmware in the kernel.
CONFIG_DRM_AMDGPU=y requires the firmware to be included in the kernel too. _________________ Regards,

Looks like I forgot make modules_install, now fatal is gone.
Now on startx I receive error "Bad display name in list command"
Big thanks for help, and looks like this is already another topic, but this is my current dmesg. |

Hm, for my Wi-Fi I changed CONFIG_MT76_CORE from y to m, and again cannot get TTY prompt, and dmesg again contains "amdgpu: Fatal error during GPU init" |

Hmmm.... linux-firmware is emerged:
Code: | * sys-kernel/linux-firmware
Latest version available: 99999999
Latest version installed: 99999999
Size of files: 0 KiB
Homepage: https://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git
Description: Linux firmware files
License: GPL-2 GPL-2+ GPL-3 BSD MIT || ( MPL-1.1 GPL-2 ) redistributable? ( linux-fw-redistributable BSD-2 BSD BSD-4 ISC MIT ) unknown-license? ( all-rights-reserved )
|
BUT files are not available:
Code: | ls /lib/firmware/amdgpu/psp*
ls: cannot access '/lib/firmware/amdgpu/psp*': No such file or directory
ubuntu-ssd / # ls /lib/firmware/
ath9k_htc/ av7110/ carl9170-1.fw dsp56k/ keyspan_pda/ regulatory.db usbdux_firmware.bin usbduxsigma_firmware.bin
atusb/ brcm/
|
The same for Wi-Fi:
Code: | # ls /lib/firmware/mediatek/WIFI_MT7961*
ls: cannot access '/lib/firmware/mediatek/WIFI_MT7961*': No such file or directory
|
Emerged again - still no files |
