Description
An issue was discovered in urllib.request.AbstractBasicAuthHandler which
allowed a remote attacker to send malicious data causing extensive
regular expression backtracking.
Impact
An attacker could cause a possible Denial of Service condition.
Workaround
There is no known workaround at this time.
