Hi list,
My motherboard uses the nforce 2 chipset and I need to get my eth0 working. During installation, i did a "emerge nforce-net" to install the nvnet driver. I have also installed hotplug.
After booting up, gentoo would not bring up eth0. I tried adding "nvnet" to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.4 but still have the same problem after rebooting.
Any suggestions?
TIA |

did you remeber to add net.eth0 to the startup scripts?
Code: | rc-update add net.eth0 default | shoud take care of it for you. _________________ Rationality is the recognition of the fact that nothing can alter the truth and nothing can take precedence over that act of perceiving it. |
