hello,
a simple question before i'll spend some time and try it myself:
does >=gentoo-sources-5.4.38 support old nvidia-drivers-340.*?
i've found some information about it but frankly speaking i'm not sure :-/
https://bugs.gentoo.org/693704 etc.
i've been using mask packages below for last year but thinking about using a newer kernel...
$ cat /etc/portage/package.mask/nvidia

I tried compile nvidia-drivers-340 with kernel-5.4.38 and seems to work

| it seems that a combination of gentoo-sources-5.4.38 and nvidia-drivers-340.108-r1 works like a charm :-) |
