Hi!
Did anyone ever ran into this problem. When playing MP3 files through XMMS, or BMP (GTK2-port) or even playing videos through MPlayer, one second is like almost 10 seconds! It sounds quite funny. Changing output plugins from OSS to ALSA didn't work. The first thing that came into my mind was the 2.6-test10 kernel. Using other patchsets etc. didn't work though. It even worked allright right after installing XMMS, so some package I emerged afterwards must have caused this. I'm using KDE, but even without the ARTS server in fluxbox the problem remains, root and non-root.
Any ideas? |

Strange, this behavior shows in every media player. There has to be some problem with the decoding engine then. Which package(s) should I try to reemerge? I tried mpg123 and libvorbis, but no changes. I'm using "USE=3dnow,mmx,sse" |
