Problem to add a new environment

Hi people, how are you doing?
I am trying to add a desktop environment, but without success. Every time I run one emerge something I get an error.
Detail: I want to use the environment from the live-DVD, it's the desktop package that I should emerge and install?
About the problem it's about masked packages.
