Synopsis
A use-after-free in sysstat was discovered which may allow
arbitrary code execution.
Background
sysstat is a package containing a number of performance monitoring
utilities for Linux, including sar, mpstat, iostat and sa tools.

Vulnerable: < 12.2.1
Unaffected: >= 12.2.1
Architectures: All supported architectures
Description
A double-free in sysstat’s check_file_actlst() function was
discovered.
Impact
A local attacker could possibly execute arbitrary code with the
privileges of the process or cause a Denial of Service condition.
Workaround
There is no known workaround at this time.
Resolution
All sysstat users should upgrade to the latest version: Code: | # emerge --sync
