Two forums posts with overlong names

It's not every day that you see someone in this forum ask for removal of his own posts :)

In Networking and Security I posted a new thread with the name "Management of wired and wireless w/ dhcpcd & wpa-supplicant". When I did so, the site returned the unhelpful message "Posting error". Thinking it might be an intermittent issue, I tried again. Same message.

Next I thought that maybe the title was too long. I shortened it to "Manage wired and wireless w/ dhcpcd & wpa-supplicant", and that worked. That thread has been useful.

I notice now, though, the forum has two orphan threads under the original name with no views and no replies. I tried to bring them up to delete them but all I get is the message "No posts exist for this topic". Could you delete those two orphans (and, of course, retain the one with the shortened title)?

Done. The orphan threads appear not to have any posts in them, even their starting post, which is consistent with what you saw. Merging them to another thread did not add any posts to the target thread, but the orphan threads are now gone.

Thank you. I would hope the bug in the forum software that resulted in the partial posting was fixed long ago and won't be a problem in the upcoming version of the forum software.

The upgrade has not happened, so the bug is still present in the code.
