The boot halts at termencoding and then doesn't proceed any further , however with the nomodeset parameter passed in the command line the boot continues without any interruptions. Any solution to this issue ? I am using Linux kernel 5.8.3 and the latest open source nouveau drivers. The issue is on a new installation with nouveau drivers compiled as a module.
