Hello Helloman,

can you please give us some more background about what you are doing?

Please show us the exact command you ran, any output it produced, and describe the environment in which it was run. This covers both the local operating system and the local network. Are you expecting a DHCP server on the network to respond to you?

I chose minimal installation AMD64 and I am wired ethernet connection, I pinged google so it knows that I am on a network

Helloman,

net-setup is not required. dhcp is the default if you do nothing. Not even invoke dhcp.

Reboot and run
Code:
ifconfig

Do you have an IP?
Does ping work.

Do not run net-setup, just carry on with your install.

Helloman,

net-setup provdies a form to enter a static configuration or a way to run dhcpcd by hand without rebooting.
You might need to run dhcpcd by hand if you booted first and connected the ethernet cable later, after dhcpcd had timed out.

From looking at your image, I suspect all is well, the system just needs a prod to print the prompt.
Press the Enter key a couple of times.
