Hi there,
Are there any Gentoo logo stickers around? I wanna put "powered by" on my box. And on my logbook. And on all my laptop. And on servers at work. And on servers at home..... and... and... and...
Who said that propaganda hurts good software?
just where could i get them?
note-to-self: change nick to 'stickerGuy'

Since no progress seems to have been made on this, is there any
official Gentoo artwork for a case badge? If there is something official
that would fit the artwork guidelines, I can get some made from here:
http://www.securisysagency.com/case_badges_custom.html
I suppose I could cook something up. But I'd really rather have it be
the official trademark artwork for case badges. I would like it to be
stable and not change all the time since I have to invest in ten of them. |

Heh. I started a topic on Gentoo Logos awhile back. I think it blossomed into a 5 page thread *beams*. I still think the best ideas in the thread we mine (sorry )
http://www.angelfire.com/linux/lurid
(again, sorry about it being on angelfire)
I'd definatly put either of those on my car/box. |

I would like some kind of sticker like intel/microsoft has, wich they put on almost every pc (thank god not mine )
That's not a real casebadge, casebadges are bigger.
Problem will be the cost of such a thing to get that over sea |

I recently saw a laptop in university with a gentoo sticker, but it was not like the ones you can buy now. It was more like really transparent (which is kind of cool, because most people won't realize while Gents will see it immediately)...
Gotta ask this guy where he got it from later. |

I was desparately looking for a Gentoo case badge the other day to replace my Debian one, but there are none So I've had to make do with a Tux one for the moment, but really really want a Gentoo one |

I remember during the dot.com boom a company was producing custom chromed car badges of email and web addresses. A discrete gentoo chrome car badge would be so so cool........ |

There are some stickers on the Gentoo Linux Store that might be used for these purposes. Also, the more stickers that are bought, the more stickers will become availible. _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..

if u find out about that sticker - plz post it here.
I'm actually thinking to order stickers from the local print shop - i think they'll be able to make some. Just gotta find a nice looking logo now. Smthg discrete, not too flashy, professional looking
The ones sold at GLS are simply too big and bright. |

ok, just asked the guy with the cool gentoo sticker - he made them himself (he had a spare one which now decorates my laptop )
I think the best way to get a sticker is using a box knife and some stickerpaper (I know it would be better to buy them, because some of the money goes into gentoo, but most of the stuff they sell looks ugly IMO) |

Are there any plans to develop the Gentoo merchandise any further?
We've all heard way too many times about people thinking the current range is ugly and so on. |

You're right.. It's odd, I checked just when I made that post and there were three left in stock, but now they're gone. Must be out of stock now or something. _________________ - I

All right, only one problem:
> I don't have a credit card (but I can use my friends)
> What are the shipping costs (to Belgium)?
I'd also like to ask the second question for the gentoo store. That "Gentoo Cup-o-Tea" really looks attractive Oh yeah, its quite expensive, can someone confirm most of the money will go to the Gentoo company? _________________ {Linux User #333296}
