hello

Before kernel update (from 2.4.20 to 2.6.0-test11-love1)I had working VPN connection to another location.
With new kernel , I cant connect any more...

I applied this patch to kernel
http://www.polbox.com/h/hs001/linux-2.6.0-mppe-mppc-0.98.patch.gz
pppd is
http://www.polbox.com/h/hs001/ppp-2.4.2-cvs20030715.tar.gz
with this patch
http://www.polbox.com/h/hs001/ppp-2.4.2-mppe-mppc-0.82.patch.gz

Here are my options for pppd

Code:

noauth
lock
nobsdcomp
nodeflate

mppe required
mppe stateless

mtu 1000
mru 1000

debug
dump
logfd 2
nodetach
lcp-echo-failure 10
lcp-echo-interval 10

and output looks like this

Hello,
Did you figure it out? I am running a 2.6.0 kernel and have it working. There is another patch you need to apply. If you go to the above mentioned website, at the bottom of the page, you will find the patch, I believe it should fix your problem. I was getting the same errors as you. Hope this helps.

How do you "apply the patches"?
