Hi, I get the mentioned error (together with more MCE errors).

I tried the same kernel image on different hardware and it worked.
But, I also tried a different kernel image on the same hardware, and it also worked.

So it is neither a kernel nor a hardware issue. I'm kinda lost at what to do now...

The wietd thing is that I boot into X11, and it works and only if I try to switch to a tty I get this kernel panic.

One thing that could cause it is microcodes. The working kernel image comes with micro codes for the CPU, can the lack of micro codes in my initramfs cause this?

Thanks!
