|
|
I just discovered this patch for coreutils package that add a progress bar on cp and mv command through new -g option.
Someone already uses it? Is it safe to use this patch (it does not seem to me that it touches critical functions but I am rusty with the C language)?
Until now I used sys-apps/progress package but it don't add a global progress bar and it show only file per file progress.
There is also sys-apps/gcp but work only for copy file. _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Is /etc/portage/patches the way to go as expected, or is it?
