With yesterday's update to KDE/Plasma on my stable amd64 workstation, I suddenly noticed a thin blue line appearing at times on the left side of my open konsole windows. As I'm running multiple 4K monitors I initially thought I had run into one of the Qt HiDPI rendering bugs or something. Turns out, it's not a bug, but a (new) feature: highlighted scrolling of new lines coming into view. To turn it off, uncheck Settings-->Edit Current Profile-->Scrolling-->Highlighting. (Thanks to Reddit for the eventual answer.)
Just FYI for anyone else encountering this for the first time. |
