Hi Guys ,
During today's update the "eselect-python" utility was depcleaned.
Is this expected?
Are we supposed now to only use the
Code: |
/etc/python-exec/python-exec.conf
|
file?
Thanks a lot! _________________

I imagine we'll get plenty of duplicates, I'm seeing this everywhere, not just forums
eselect python is really not as important as people think
Edit: Or at least not since python-exec came around, it's more like a placeholder for users to keep doing what they're used to. About all it's doing is edit a single normal text file and give you a pretty list, and odds are you don't need to manually set anything (more so now that python-exec-conf will be automatically used). |
