I have been searching the forums trying to fix my sound, but no luck.
Here are my system details:
In dmesg it says: hdaudio hdaudioC1D0: Unable to bind the codec

Use make config and
change CONFIG_SND_HDA=y to CONFIG_SND_HDA=m |

I used and changed:
Code: | Device Drivers
<M> Sound Card Support
<M> Advanced Linux Sound Architecture |
Code: | mount /boot
make && make modules_install
make install
|
The dmesg error seems to have gone away, but I still have no sound.
Here is my dmesg output: https://dpaste.com/DB3895YCK

Code: | modprobe snd-hda-intel | loads sound, but udev does not load this automatically for some reason. |
