Hello !
I was trying to install fcitx-libpinyin and got this error below
Code: |
>>> Installing (1 of 2) app-i18n/fcitx-4.2.9.8::gentoo-zh
* checking 427 files for package collisions
* This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other
* packages (see list below). You can use a command such as `portageq
* owners / <filename>` to identify the installed package that owns a
* file. If portageq reports that only one package owns a file then do
* NOT file a bug report. A bug report is only useful if it identifies at
* least two or more packages that are known to install the same file(s).
* If a collision occurs and you can not explain where the file came from
* then you should simply ignore the collision since there is not enough
* information to determine if a real problem exists. Please do NOT file
* a bug report at https://bugs.gentoo.org/ unless you report exactly
* which two packages install the same file(s). See
* https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Knowledge_Base:Blockers for tips on how
* to solve the problem. And once again, please do NOT file a bug report
* unless you have completely understood the above message.
*

follow the command mentioned, I got
Code: |
app-i18n/fcitx-5.0.21
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/128x128/apps/fcitx.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/fcitx.png

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps/fcitx.png

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/fcitx.png

here's my full log
https://transfer.sh/G5WRr8/a.log
At first I have fcitx4 and fcitx5 both installed, then when I tried to upgrade the whole system these to packages blocked each other, so I decided to reinstall both of them, and this error happened every time I want to emerge libpinyin.
Thanks for your help!

Despite being in two slots, these packages try to install the same files. This is a bug in the ebuild. It should either install them under different names, or use the same SLOT for both so that at most one of these two ebuilds is installed at once.
As the ebuilds are presently written, you cannot have both slots installed at once. Remove one of the two slots, change the ebuild to use different names, or ask the ebuild maintainer to change it for you. |
