Gentoo's default KDE Plasma install is generic, meaning it has no indication anywhere that the underlying OS is Gentoo Linux (unless you open the "System Information" and Plasma's System Settings...)
So I've put the Gentoo SVG logo in the K-menu, and the purple "10 Years Compiling" wallpaper as my default background.
It looks pretty nice actually.
Also, do you brand your desktop?

Its OK to do what you want with your own system.
Its OK to put a screenshot somewhere, so you can show it to us.
It gets a bin murky, if you want to distribute it in any way as the Gentoo Logo is a registered mark.
There are Gentoo Logo usage guidelines to cover that case.
If that's not enough, write to the trustees.

Oh no I don't intend to distribute or anything like that. Its just for my personal use.
