So otherwise the sound is working, but XFCE sound events are not heard?

I have no wifi, so I can't tell.
Can't mount any partitions.
Looking into pulseaudio, I can see that there is no any info about sound card.
Looks like media keys are working, there is no any notifications. But I can't hear any sound regarded to maximizing and minimizing volume.
It seems to me that there is no any sound at all.
--- Hardware otput devices - blank field in pulseaudio volume plugin.

Sorry, you lost me completely now, your Xfce4 sound is working over WiFi? Possible indeed, but why you are forcing us to guess?

Why don't you start from beginning and make sure ALSA is functional, and then build on it?

I have no wifi connection at all.
I can't mount anything.
I can see that there is "dummy otput" instead of name of audio card when I start pulse audio.
