HI,
So I wanted to just reinstall my DWM config, but suddenly for no reason its just giving me errors? I tried getting the errors onto stuff like gist.github.com but it only logs the successful part of the errors, not the failing ones?
So heres the one i manually put up on github: https://gist.github.com/0ae/947e2127b1380004a26ede48687bf8fa
My DWM Config: https://github.com/0ae/dwm
The normal DWM works completely fine, however, mine just fails to make even though it always worked at compiling before?
I did not edit my kernel prior to this or did any system configuration.
Any help is appreciated!

Please post the output of emerge --info x11-wm/dwm
and the build log...
Have you created your own customized build? |
Yea, you can see above on my github that its a bit customized (one patch, mostly just configuration in config.h
Also im installing it through sudo make clean install, not through emerge. |

Please describe exactly what you did in both the good and bad cases. fullbyte wrote: | The normal DWM works completely fine, however, mine just fails to make even though it always worked at compiling before? | What are the differences between the good and bad builds? According to the commit history, you changed hundreds of lines in dwm.c. fullbyte wrote: | Also im installing it through sudo make clean install, not through emerge. | Why? |

fwiw I tried to build your version and it built just fine, will need to see the build log (gist link appears dead).
Should use emerge though, you can use /etc/portage/patches to make changes to dwm.c if need be (on top of the USE=savedconfig config.h). |

It was all because I accidentally messed up my dwm.c
Apologies for the time waste! |
