When doing a "cl-update" (konsole) update, everything is working well.
But fetching is very slow with 55KB. (sdb1)
Same on sdb3 (gentoo) is with 6.7Mb

Sometimes some packages can do with full speed. But most not

Just trying that ltoize and needs an "emerge -eav @world" (calculate, not gentoo)

But cannot manually down from gentoo/distfiles @1375 packets with browser. (Are they still the same as with gentoo ?)

Here's the problem:

All downlinks are stored within the ebuilds
- with gentoo there ist fullspeed for fetching
- with calulate not

Any suggestions are welcome.

This and that is not useful.

LuxJux,

A few things. Rebuilding with -flto need not mean fetching everything again. Unless you don't keep the distfiles for packages you currently have installed.

Gentoo and Calculate will have their own mirror systems. The SRC_URI in the ebuild is only used when source code is not on the morrs, for whatever reason.
As Gentoo and Calculate both develop independently, it may not be possible for Calculate to fetch from the Gentoo mirror system.
You can try it by putting a gentoo mirror in your GENTOO_MIRRORS= or whatever Caculate uses

Source code is removed from the Gentoo mirror system when the ebuilds that require it are removed from the ::gentoo repo.
For sources that both distros need, it will work.

Moved from Other Things Gentoo to Unsupported Software as Calculate is not Gentoo

updated /etc/portage/make.conf/custom with

Code:
GENTOO_MIRRORS="https://mirrors.soeasyto.com/distfiles.gentoo.org/ https://mirror.eu.oneandone.net/linux/distributions/gentoo/gentoo/ ftp://ftp.wh2.tu-dresden.de/pub/mirrors/gentoo"

Code:
emerge --resume
is working and there is no "tail --waiting" anymore.

Many thanks for your help.
