Could you restate the question? You pasted a mailing list thread that, in addition to the sin of top-posting, seems completely irrelevant here. I see no mention of Gentoo in that thread.
Usually the answer is that it is not difficult, but no one who can do it has cared enough to do so. Have you tried it and encountered some problem? |

Ah, yes.
I link IT to gentoo, because I want to know if fewer people have the problem, that they cant send via libshout.
Normally i grab sound via gst-plugins & pulseaudio, piping that to libshout/icecast.
Or from ALSA directly.
Now Itried IT with the tool 'mixxx' to broadcast to three of my servers.
I tried every server.
